Patna: The number of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases surged to 606 in India at 6.45 pm on March 25, 2020, registering an increase of 44 during last 9 hours. The figure includes 43 foreign nationals, 43 cured/discharged/ migrated cases, and 10 deaths. With one more patient dying in the state on March 25, the Coronavirus death toll increased to three in Maharashtra on the day while Bihar, Delhi, West Bengal, Karnataka, Punjab, Gujarat, and Himachal Pradesh have recorded one death each.

Amongs the States and UTs, Maharashtra tops the list with 128 active cases including three foreign nationals followed by Kerala with 109 cases including 8 foreigners. Karnataka accounts for 41 active cases while Gujarat has reported 38 cases. Rajasthan has reported 36 confirmed cases while Punjab accounts for 29 such cases.

UP has reported 37 active cases while Telangana has reported 35 cases including 10 foreigners. Tamilnadu has recorded 18 cases while Haryana has recorded 28 active cases. In Delhi, the figure stands at 31 including 1 foreign national. UTs Ladakh and J&K have reported 17 and 7 active cases respectively while Chandigarh accounts for 7 such cases.

In MP, the figure stands at 14 while Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal have recorded 9 active cases each. Bihar has reported 4 cases while Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand has reported 3 active cases each so far, according to Union Health & Family Welfare Ministry. Chhattisgarh, Mizoram, and Manipur have recorded one case each so far.
