Patna : The number of active novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases increased to 492 in India at 8.45 am on March 24, 2020. This figure includes 41 foreigners, 37 cure/discharged/migrated cases, and 9 deaths. Kerala tops the list with 95 cases including 8 foreigners followed by Maharashtra with 87 cases including 3 foreigners. Maharashtra has reported two Coronavirus deaths while Bihar, Delhi, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and West Bengal, have reported one death each.
In Karnataka, the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases increased to 37 on March 23, 2020, morning, while in Gujarat it has jumped to 29. Delhi has recorded 31 active cases so far. Rajasthan accounts for 33 cases including 2 foreigners while Punjab has reported 21 such cases. Telangana has reported 32 active cases so far including 10 from abroad while Tamilnadu accounts for 12 cases, according to Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
Uttar Pradesh has reported 33 active cases so far including one foreigner. In Bihar, the number of active cases remains pegged at 2 while in Andhra Pradesh it is 7. Haryana accounts for 26 active cases including 14 foreigners while Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal accounts for 7 active cases each.
