Notorious gangster Sattan Yadav arrested

Bhagalpur : A team of Bhagalpur police, with assistance from STF, arrested  notorious gangster Sattan Yadav, who was carrying areward of Rs 25,000 on his head, from Godda in Jharkhand. Sattan Yadav was evading arrest for the past 14 years.

Police did not have any photograph of Sattan Yadav which helped him evade arrest for so long. Sattan never carried a mobile phone with him. He used to collect rangdari from traders of Bhagalpur and Nathnagar. He was evading in connection with several murder cases including that RJD district unit chief Laxmi Yadav. Sattan, who was inactive for the past 8 years, has confessed his involvement in several crimes.
