Notorious criminal Vishal Singh arrested with 4 gang members

Gopaqlganj :  Gopalganj and Deoria (UP) police, in a joint operation, arrested a wanted don Vishal Singh and four  of his gang members from a riverine are in Gopalganj on October 26, 2019. The gang of Vishal Singh  had created  terror  in Bihar and  bordering districts  in UP. The  arrest of Vishal Singh and his gang members  by police is a big achievement  of police. As soon as the news  of arrest of Vishal Singh spread, the people of Deoria in UP and Gopalganj in North Bihar  heaved a sigh of relief.

Vijay Kumar Verma, DIG of Saran Range, talking to this reporter, said  that  Vishal Singh  was wanted in  22 criminal cases
lodged with different police stations of Siwan and Gopalganj districts alone. The STF of Gopalganj and Deoria police were conducting raids  regularly  on his hideouts.

Police, however, could not recover any  firearm and ammunition  from  the possession of arrested criminals though they seized eight cellphones. According to police sources, these criminals had created terror particularly in Mirganj market in Gopalganj District  and were collecting ‘Rangdari’ (extortion amount)  from the businessmen. These arrested criminals are being
quizzed by police .
