Notorious criminal Nayeem Mian surrenders before Bhojpur SP

Ara : Notorious criminal Nayeem Mian, who was carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, surrendered before Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar on July 1, 2019, afternoon, under mounting police pressure. He was wanted in the murder of businessman Krishna Singh near Model Institute on July 2, 2017, and double murder outside Ara railway station in 2018. Police sleuths are interrogating him. He is elder brother of notorious of the area Chand Mian.

Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar said that some armed miscreants had shot dead a businessman Krishna Singh alias Kumar Ji, son of Ram Khelawan Singh, in Padav locality near Model Institute under Ara Town police station on July 2, 2017, when he was returning from the market. A named FIR was lodged with Ara Town police station against Chand Mian, his brother Nayeem Mian, and others. Almost all the named accused except for Nayeem Mian were arrested earlier.

The SP further said that some armed miscreants had shot dead two persons outside Ara railway station allegedly at the behest of Nayeem Mian in 2018. He said that dozens of criminal cases are pending with different police stations against Nayeem Mian.
