Patna : World No 26 Cameron Norrie, 26, UK, beat World No 36 Nikoloz Basilashvili, 29, Georgia, in three sets in final to lift the men’s singles title at AYP Indian Wells Masters 1,000 at Indian Wells, California, USA, on October 18, 2021, early morning. Norrie defeated Basilashvili 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 in 1hr 49 minutes in final to win his first ATP Masters 1,000 title.
Norrie, the 21st seed, won 5 break points during the match to 3 by 29th seed Basilashvili. Both the players won 5 games each in a row during the match.
