Bikramganj ( Rohtas): Bikramganj railway station on Patna-Sasaram main rail route has no ticket counter even after a decade of start of running of trains on this route though hundreds of people travel daily from Bikramganj. Tickets are given from a window from the chamber of Station Master and people are seen in long queue for ticket. However, most of them fail to get tickets and have to travel without tickets. The ticketless passengers are often harassed by the TTE. Under the banner of Passengers Association, people have resorted to agitations several times and also wrote to the railway authorities but to no avail so far.

Shiv Jee Prasasd, Station Master, Bikramganj, said that ticket counters could not be opened due to shortage of employees. Whenever a senior officials visit the railway station for inspection or supervision, he informs them about all problems but nothing has so far been done in this regard.
