No breakthrough in Niraj murder case, Bachha to meet Rajnath Singh

Dhanbad (Jharkhand) :  Bachha Singh, a former Jharkhand minister and uncle of  slain congress leader and former Dhanbad Deputy Mayor Niraj Singh, on March 29, 2017, alleged that  his nephew was murdered due to deep rooted conspiracy hatched by Jharia BJP  MLA Sanjiv Singh who was fearing the  growing  popularity of Niraj Singh as no one could dare  attack his nephew near Steel gate  which is hardly few hundred metres from his residence where they all lived.

Promising to move the Supreme court if CBI inquiry is not ordered into Niraj murder case, Bachha said that he was surprised that not a single BJP leader had condemned  the heinous killing  though he received calls  from Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, RJD supreme Lalu Prasad besides leaders of all other political parties. “This is really surprising  that BJP leaders are trying to shield their party MLA despite knowing about the alleged role of Sanjiv Singh in the murder of Niraj Singh. The interrogation of Sanjiv Singh few days back by an SIT team was just an eyewash as no proper investigation was also done. Till  even one drop of blood is left  in my body, I will fight for justice, “ promised  Bachha Singh while talking to this reporter  adding that he will  be meeting union Home minister Rajnath Singh in a day or two pleading for CBI inquiry into Niraj murder case.

while, the SIT has flashed sketches of three sharpshooters who were staying at a rented house of an engineer R A Rai along with another youth and went missing soon after the killing. Police have seized few old newspapers on which sketches of movement of traffic at steel gate and several points on road, where moving vehicles are forced to slow down, were dotted along with map. No major arrest has been reported so far in the case. However, ADG CID Ajay Kumar Singh claimed few arrests were likely within next  hours.
