Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar started his Nischaya Yatra, 9th in the series of his yatras since 2005, from Narkatiyaganj in West Champaran district on Wednesday morning. He reached the sub-divisional headquarters by the state government helicopter. His deputy Tejeshwai Yadav also accompanied him.All senior officers of the state government had reached Narkatiyaganj in advance.
Immediately after his arrival, the CM went to the sub-divisional office of public grievances bureau. He will review progress of seven points in government resolve and impact of his prohibition campaign at Bettiah and Motihari on Wednesday.
At Patna airport, Nitish welcomed the announcement of P M Narendra Modi to withdraw currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 on Tuesday night and said this would help curb blackmoney.
