Nitish to visit Valmiki Tiger Reserve

Bagaha :  Bihar CM Nitish Kumar will reach Manguraha in Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR) in West Champaran district by helicopter on January 7 noon and will  stay there for about three hours and visit forest area and then take off for Valmikinagar on Indo-Nepal border and stay overnight there.

On January 8, he will review progress of various development schemes of different department besides integrated Tharuhat development schemes here. He is also likely to participate in some programme and meet the locals.The CM will see also  the various schemes going on under the VTR and return to Patna on January 8 afternoon.

CPI(ML) leader Birendra Gupta alleged that forest cover was getting denuded in Madanpur, Valmikinagar, Gonauli, Harnatand, Chiugettaha, Manguraha, Gobardhana and others sectors.
