Bagaha : Bihar CM Nitish Kumar will visit two places in West Champaran district on December 7, 2017, and review the progress development works launched during his Vikas Yantra on January 10, 2009, when he had laid foundation of schemes worth Rs 125 crore.

West Champaran District Magistrate Neelesh Ramchandra Deore while speaking to mediapersons on December 4, 2017, evening, said that the CM during his a visit to Patilar under Bagaha-1 block and Kataiya under Lauria block will inaugurate various completed development schemes and and review the schemes being executed by different agencies and lay the foundation of schemes worth Rs 132 crore for the development of the region. An Agriculture Mela will also be organised at Kataiya for promoting mordenĀ  farming.

The CM will reach Patilar around 11 am and likely to visit a dalit basti in Patilar panchayat and inspect houses provided with all basic amenities including toilet, electricity drinking water facilities. Nitish will also plant saplings of trees and address a public meeting at Harihar High School, Patilar.

The DM said that the CM will also distribute homestead land parcha among landless persons andĀ  second installment cheque under Prime Minister Awas Yojna to the beneficiaries. He will also distribute credit cards among students at Kataiya besides addressing meeting there.
