Patna : Bihar CM Nitish Kumar will expand his cabinet on July 29, 2017, at 5 pm by inducting 34 ministers. The cabinet would have 19 members from JD(U) and 9 from the BJP. Nitish had won floor test at a special session of Bihar assembly on July 28.

Senior JD(U) leaders including Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Shrawan Kumar, Lesy Singh, Jai Kumar Singh and Khurshid Alam are likely to be sworn in as ministers. BJP leaders Nand Kishore Yadav, Prem Kumar, Mangal Pandey or Vinod Narayan Jha, Gyanendra Singh Gyanoo, Ramprit Paswan, Suresh Sharma and Braj Kishore Bind too are likely to take oath. From the LJP, Pashupati Kumar Paras will be taking oath.
