Patna: Bihar CM and JD(U) president Nitish Kumar on Thursday commended the Indian armed forces for their surgical strike in POK. In a statement, Nitish said, “I salute the Indian army for their bravery in  attacking terrorists’ camps in POK last night. The entire nation is proud of their action in attacking the training camps with precision. We extend our support to the Union government for its action.”
Former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said, ” PM Narendra Modi has avenged the killings of 18 jawans at Uri on September 18. He has a strong political will.” He said the nation was with the armed forces.
Nand Kishore Yadav, senior BJP leader and former Road Construction department minister said the Prime Minister acted on the wishes of the common people  who were agitated since Uri attack.Wishes of the Indians have been reflected in the surgical strike, Yadav said and claimed PM Narendra Modi had given enough indication of the surgical strike at Kozhikode public meeting last week.
