Patna : Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on August 18, 2021, made an aerial survey of flood affected areas in Bhagalpur, Khagaria, and Begusarai Districts. He inspected Community Kitchen and interacted with the flood affected people at the Relief Centre at Naugachia in Bhagalpur District, to get feedback on quality of relief.
Meanwhile, river Ganga was showing receding trend at most of the places in Bihar. It is, however, still flowing above the danger mark at Digha Ghat, Gandhi Ghat, Hatidah, Munger, and Kahalgaon ( Bhagalpur). A significant fall in its water level is expected by August 20, 2021, early morning.
