Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on December 24 launched the free bus service for the pilgrims visiting Patna for the 350th birth anniversary of  Guru Govind Singh. Buses have been procured by Bihar state urban development corporation. The 240 fleet of buses have sophisticated equipment including GPS. They will not move of any
gate remains open.

After the Prakash Utsav ends, the buses will run on the streets of Patna, passengers, the CM said, will have to pay for it. The CM also laid foundation stone for the proposed inter- state bus service bus stand on Patna-Gaya road and through remote control system, bus stands were opened at six other towns in the state including Bodh Gaya. Nitish said all banks of river Ganga in Patna will have modernised Ghats. All ghats will be inter-connected.
