Patna: CM Nitish Kumar on Monday released the first annual report of achievements of Grand Alliance (GA) government in Bihar without any fanfare in view of Kanpur railway tragedy.
The report disputed the claim of the opposition NDA in Bihar that crimes have gone up in last one year and said there had been decline
in all criminal activities including kidnapping, robberies, dacoities and criminal assault on women. Grand Alliance government comprising  JD(U), RJD and Congress has provided good governance which led to development in the state, says the 140 page annual report.
The report has CM Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Tejeshwi Yadav on cover page and seven resolves (Saat Nischay) of
Nitish Kumar has  been given prominence on all pages of the report. Bihar government has provided electricity to all households, tap water connections to all houses, credit cards to all college going students, metalled streets even in the villages, the report claimed.

Extensive coverage has been given to prohibition enforced since April this year in the annual report card which claimed condition in
villages has improved considerably and saving capacity of the people has increased due to liquor ban. It said the strict enforcement of
prohibition has led to improved law and order and heavy fall in figures related to road accidents on the highways too.

Reacting to the GA government report card, Nand Kishore Yadav, senior BJP leader and chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of Bihar legislature, said the report was full of announcements made by Nitish Kumar in last one year.
