Nitish distributes portfolios amongs ministers

Patna : Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on July 29, 2017, night, distributed portfolios among the 27 members inducted in the state cabinet the same day evening. The chief minister has kept with himself General Administration Department, Home, Cabinet Secretariat, Vigilance, Election, Information and Public Relations, Law and other departments not allotted to anyone so far. Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi has been given Finance, Commercial-taxes, Environment and Forest and  Information Technoly Departments.

Bijendra Prasad Yadav has been given Energy, Prohibition, Excise and Registration Departments while Prem Kumar has got Agriculture Department. Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh has been given Water Resources, Planning and Development Departments while Nand Kishore Yadav has been allotted Road Construction Department, a portfolio he had held earlier. Shrawan Kumar has been allotted Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs Departments while Ram Narayan Mandan has been given Revenue and Land Reforms Department. Jai Kumar Singh has been allotted Industry and Science and Technology Departments while Pramod Kumar has got Tourism.

Krishnandan Prasad Verma has been allotted Education portfolio while Mangal Pandey has been allotted Health portfolio. Maheshwar Hazari has been given Building Construction Department while Vinod Narayan Jha has been given Public Health Engineering Department (PHED portfolio. Shailesh Kumar has been given Rural Works while Suresh Sharma got Urban Development Housing Department. Manju Verma has been given Social Welfare Department while Vijay Kumar Sinha has been given Labour Resources Department. Santosh Kumar Nirala has got  Transport Department while Rana Randhir Singh has been allotted Co-operative Department.

Khurshid alias Feroz Ahmad has been given Minority Welfare and Sugarcane Industries Departments while Vinod Kumar Singh has got Mines and Geology Department.Madan Sahni  has got the portfolio of Food and Consumer Protection Department while Krishna Kumar Rishi has got Art, Culture and Youth Affair departmnt. Kapildev Kamat has been given Panchayati Raj Department while Dinesh Chandra Yadav has been allotted Minor Water Resources Department. Ramesh Rishidev has been given SC/ST Welfare Department while Braj Kishore Bind has been allotted Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department while Pashupati Kumar Paras has got Animal and Fishery Resources Department.
