Nishioka beats Humbert to reach final of ATP Delray Beach Open

Patna : World No 63 Yoshihito Nishioka, 24, Japan, beat World No 44 Ugo Humbert, 21, France,in three-sets to enter the final of Delray Beach, an ATP Tour 250 event played on hard courts, at Delray Beach, Florida, USA, on February 23, 2020. Nishioka beat Humbert 1-6, 6-4, 6-0 in 1hr 41 minutes in semi-finals battling back from one set down.

Nishioka won 8 games in a row in the match to 5 by Frenchman Humbert. The Japanese won 4 break points to 2 by 6th seed Humbert. Nishioka, in all, won 72 points to 65 by Humbert, who fired 4 Aces in the match.

Nishioka will face the winner of the second semi-finals between 2nd seed Milos Raonic, 29, Canada, and 4th seed & World No 54 Reilly Opelka, 22, USA, in the final.
