Niraj Gupta appointed Saharsa district unit BJP chief

Saharsa : Bihar BJP president Nityanand Rai, MP, has appointed party worker Niraj Gupta as the new president of Saharsa district of the party. BJP chief Rai had taken feedback from a large number of party workers and leaders of the district before appointing Niraj Gupta as the president of Saharsa district unit of the party.

Gupta succeeds Madan Kumar Chaudhary Madhav. Several BJP leaders from the district were eyeing for the post of district president of the party. Gupta was earlier in Congress party and had joined the BJP in the presence of Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das during his visit to Saharsa for electioneering in 2015 Bihar assembly polls.
