Saharsa : Nine students of Nandurbar Madrassa in Maharashtra, who were staying at Karpoori Chhatravas Isolation Centre, Saharsa, on their return from there, left for their native villages on May 23, 2020, after getting completely cured from Coronavirus (COVID-19) in 13 days at the centre. Eight of them belong to Saharsa District and one to Nepal.
All of them tested negative twice after which they were discharged from the Isolation centre on May 23 with an advice to stay at home for at least 14 days. novel Coronavirus struck them when they came into contact with Coronavirus patients there. They had returned to Saharsa from Nandurbar by train. All the nine children were very happy on being discharged from the Isolation Centre.
Saharsa DM Kaushal Kumar, who was present on the occasion along with SP Rakesh Kumar, Sadar SDO Shambhunath Jha, SDPO Prabhakar Tiwary, Civil Surgeon Dr Awadhesh Kumar, DPRO Dilip Kumar Dev, DPM Vinay Ranjan, and Hospital Manager Amit Ranjan, said that the nine children had won their battle against Coronavirus. Saharsa District administration presented Rose flower to the children.
