Patna : New Zealand beat Bangladesh by two wickets in the 9th match of ICC World Cup at Kennington Oval, London, UK, on June 5, 2019, late night, with Ross Taylor scoring 82 in 91 balls hitting 9 fours and Captain Kane Williamson 40 in 72 balls with just 1 four.
New Zealand openers : Martin Guptil and Colin Munro, scored25 and 24 runs respectively while James Neesham scored 25. Replying to Bangladesh’s 244 all out in 49.2 overs, New Zealand scored 248/8 in 47.1 overs. New Zealand had won the toss and opted to bowl. Ross Taylor was declared Player of the Match.
For Bangladesh, Mehidy Hasan, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Saifuddin, and Mosaddek Hossain took two wickets each.
