Patna : New Zealand A were all out for 398 in 131.4 overs in their first innings in the third unofficial test against India A on the third day of the match at Cobham Oval, Whangarei, New Zealand, on December 2, 2018, with wicketkeeper Cam Fletcher scoring 103 in 221 balls with 7 fours and a six and Tim Seifert scoring 86 in 198 balls with 13 fours. New Zealand A Captain Doug Bracewell, who had taken 5/78 in India A’s first innings, scored 55 in 74 balls with 9 fours while Kyle Jamieson scored 53 in 78 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes.
For India A, spinner Krishnappa Gowtham took 6/139 in 46.4 overs while fast bowler Mohammad Siraj took 2/82. Rajneesh Gurbani and Navdeep Saini took one wicket each.
At stumps on day 3 of the four-day unofficial test, India A were 38/1 in 14 overs opener Ravikumar Samarth batting on 27 with 4 fours and Ankit Bawne on 5. Opener Abhimanyu Easwaran was out for 2. India A trail by 37 runs.
India A were all out for 323 in their first innings with Vijay Shankar scoring 71, Shubham Gill 62, and opener Abhimanyu Easwaran 56. Oener Ravikumar Samarth scored 47 while captain Karun Nair made 19.
The first two unofficial tests were drawn.
