NDA workers stage dharna to demand revenue dist status to Bagaha

Bagaha: The workers of BJP and its allies on Saturday staged a day long dharna at Ambedkar statue, Bagaha, in West Champaran district demanding upgradation of Bagaha police district to a revenue district .Gajendradhar Mishra  presided over the dharna.

A public meeting was also held at dharna venue which was addressed by several leaders including BJP MLA from Bagaha Raghav Pandey, LJP, Bagaha unit president, Brijeshwar Rao, Bagaha HAM (S) president Shrikushun Ram, Bhupnarain Yadav, Diwakar Chaudhary,  Jagganath Yadav and Jitendra Yadav. They criticised CM Nitish Kumar for nd vehemently opposed chief Minister Nitish Kumar for not granting Bagaha as revenue district status to Bagaha. Bagaha sub- division has sent two BJP MLA to Bihar assembly. But Bhagirati Devi, BJP MLA from Ramnagar did not participate in the dharna. A memorandum, addressed to the chief minister, was handed over to SDM, Bagaha, after the dharna ended.A
