Ara : The ten- day training camp of the NCC on Maharaja college campus will conclude on December 9, 2016. Altogether 500 NCC cadets including 100 girl cadets from different colleges and schools of Bhojpur district are being imparted training at the camp by the officers of the Indian army. The cadets are being trained in battle crafts, handling weapons, field crafts, firing, and map reading.

Group Commander, NCC, from Gaya, Brigadier A K Thakur, supervised the training programme of the cadets on December 7. The cadets gave guard of honour to the Brigadier on his arrival at the training site. Addressing the cadets, the Brigadier said that the NCC cadets having C-certificates, may be appointed directly in the officer rank in the army. They may get a call from the SSB. He said that they will have to undergo medical and screening tests.

The Brigadier further said that the NCC cadets have served the country whenever required. He said that the aim of the NCC is to build nation and take its glory to a new height.
