Naxalites kill three persons at Jamui village

Jamui : Armed naxalites shot dead three members of a family including a woman at village Kumartari under Barhat police station in Jamui district late July 13, 2017, night, suspecting them to be police informers. After killing the three villagers, the naxalites dumed the bodies near Kukurjhap  dam.

Jamui SP Jayant Kant on July 14 said that the deceased belonged to the same family and were Koda tribals. Police are hunting for the assailants. Incidentally, two naxalites were killed in an encounter with police in Kumartari forest areas on June 18, 2017.
