Gaya : Naxalites shot dead fours members of a family including two women at a village under Dumaria police station (PS) in Gaya District on November 13, 2021, late night. The naxals hanged the bodies from a tree. Police are camping at the place of occurrence but are yet to arrest any naxalite.
Confirming the incident, Gaya SSP Aditya Kumar on November 14, 2021, said that four naxalites were killed during an encounter with police at the same village in February 2021 and their cadres suspected the deceased to be police informers. SSP Kumar said that around 40 armed naxalites attcked the house at 11.30 pm on November 13, 2021, and killed four persons including two women. One of the deceased women owned the house. The two males members of the family shot dead by naxalites were her sons. Her two other sons work outside.
