Ara : Over 50 students of Awasiya Adarsh Shishu Vidya Mandir located on Jagdishpur Block Road under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district had a narrow escape on November 25, 2017, morning when the LPG cylinder caught fire. Seeing the flame, the villagers rushed to the spot and took the students out of the school hostel.
During cooking of food for the students at Awasiya Adarsh Shishu Vidya Mandir, an LPG cylinder caught fire as it was leaking and in a fraction of second it spread like wildfire putting lives of over 50 students living in school hostel at stake. Seeing the flame, the villagers rushed to the spot and brought the students out of the school hostel and also extinguished the fire. The school administration had allegedly taken domestic LPG connection but was using it for commercial purpose, according to sources.
