Ara : Pro Vice Chancellor, Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, Nand Kishor Sah, has been appointed the Vice-Chancellor of the university. He assumed charge of the post on July 24, 2018. Nand Kishor Sah is the 21st VC of the university.
The Vice-Chancellor, VKSU, Prof Sayyad Mumtazuddin, had resigned from his post on May 21, 2018, and had gone on leave on medical ground. On his return to his duty on July 3, 2018, he once again requested the Governor cum Chancellor to accept his resignation as he was unable to discharge his duty due to health problem. On his request, the Governor cum Chancellor accepted his resignation on July 18, 2018. The Governor cum Chancellor on July 23 issued notification appointing Pro-VC, VKSU, Nand Kishor Sah, as new VC of the VKSU.
After assuming charge as the VC, Nand Kishor Sah, said his priority will be to bring the VKSU back on the track of development.
