Patna : BJP National President J P Nadda on August 23, 2020, while addressing the concluding session of the party’s two-day state executive committee virtual meeting said that his party, JD(U), and LJP would contest the ensuing Bihar Assembly polls together and beat the Mahagathbandan hollow.
Whenever, the BJP, JD(U), and LJP have contested elections together in Bihar, the NDA has emerged victorious, Nadda said. The NDA had won 39 out of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar in 2019 LS polls.
The NDA will contest the Bihar Assembly polls under the leadership of Bihar CM and JD(U) National President Nitish Kumar and register landslide victory, Nadda asserted describing the opposition parties in Bihar as spent force. Nadda said that the Bihar Package announced by PM Narendra Modi was implemented in letter and spirit. He also referred to infrastructure development in Bihar
Asking the BJP workers to add value not only to their own party but to other NDA constituents as well, Nadda asked them to reach every section of the society to spread the message of PM Narendra Modi and highlight the works done by CM Nitish Kumar. Nadda lauded the Bihar Government’s efforts to combat COVID-19 pandemic. He also praised the good works being done by AIIMS Patna.
