Nadal to meet Zverev in Italian Open final

Patna : Defending champion and World No 3 in ATP rankings Alexander Zverev, 21, Germany, will meet seven time champion Rafael Nadal, 31, Spain, in the final of Italian Open Masters 1000 final on May 20, 2018. The match will start on the centre court, Foro Italico, Rome, at 7.30 pm on May 19.

Zverev defeated World No 5 Marin Cilic, 29, Croatia, in the semi-finals 7-6, 7-5, in the semi-finals late May 19 night. Nadal defeated four time champion and former World No 1 Novak Djokovic, 30, Serbia, in the first semi-finals 7-6, 6-3, the same day to enter the final.
