Patna : The winner of 20 Grand Slam singles titles including three in the year 2021 Novak Djokovic, 34, Serbia, remains World No 1 with 12,113 points  in the ATP Rankings released on August 9, 2021, as the Rankings Methodology returned to normal. Daniil Medvedev, 25, Russia, is World No 2 with 9,920 points.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, 22, Greece, has jumped to World No 3 with 8,115 points. Rafael Nadal, 35, Spain, and also a winner of 20 Grand Slam singles titles has slipped one position to be ranked World No 4 with 7,815 points. Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Alexander Zverev, 24, Germany, remains World No 5 with 7,250 points. Roger Federer, 40, Switzerland, also winner of 20 Grand Slam titles, is World No 9 with 4,215 points.

Janniak Sinner, 19, Italy, has jumped 9 places after winning the City Open title last week and is ranked World No 15 with 2,745 points. Mackenzie McDonald, 26, USA, has jumped 43 places inthe Rankings after reaching the final of City Open last and is ranked World No 64 with 1,060 points

Kei Nishikori, 31, Japan, has jumped 12 places after reaching the semi-finals at City Open and is ranked World No 55 with 1,178 points. Jenson Brooksby, 20, USA, has jumped 31 places and is ranked World No 99 with 812 points after reaching the semi-finals of City Open last week.

Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 31, India, is World No 158 with 481 poinst while Sumit Nagal, 23, India, is World No 159 with 471 points.
