Patna : Having withdrawn ahead of his semi-finals match at Rolex Paris Masters at Bercy, Paris, France, due to abdominal injury last week notwithstanding Rafael Nadal, 33, Spain, has returned to World No 1 rank with 9,585 points in the ATP rankings released on November 4, 2019. Novak Djokovic, 32, Serbia, who won the Rolex Paris Masters title on November 3, 2019, has slipped one place to be ranked World No 2 with 8,945 points just 640 points behind Nadal.

Roger Federer, 38, Switzerland, remains World No 3 with 6,190 points, a lead of just 485 point over World No 4 Daniil Medvedev, 23, Russia. Medvedev has 5,705 points. Dominic Thiem, 26, Austria, remains static at World No 5 with 5,025 points while Stefanos Tsitsipas, 21, Greece, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 6 with 4,000 points after reaching the quarter-finals at Rolex Paris Masters last week.

Alexander Zverev, 22, Germany, has dropped 1 place to be ranked World No 7 with 2,945 points while Matteo Berrettini, 23, Italy, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 8 with 2,670 points. Roberto Bautista Agut, 31, Spain, has also jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 9 with 2,540 points while Gael Monfils, 33, France, has jumped 3 places to be ranked World No 10 with 2,530 points after reaching QFs at Rolex Paris Masters last week. David Goffin, 28, Belgium, has also jumped 3 places to be ranked World No 11 with 2,335 points though he had lost in the 2nd round at Paris Masters last week.

Denis Shapovalov, 20, Canada, has jumped 13 places to be ranked World No 15 with 2,050 points after reaching the final of Paris Masters last week gaining 600 points. Karen Khachanov, 23, Russia, who had won Paris Masters title in 2018 defeating Djokovic, has slipped 9 places to be ranked World No 17 with 1,840 points after failing to defend his title.

Grigor Dimitrov, 28, Bulgaria, has jumped 7 places to be ranked World No 20 with 1,747 points after reaching the SFs at Paris Masters. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, 34, France, has jumped 6 places and is ranked World No 29 with 1,410 points after reaching the QFs at Paris Masters. Cristian Garin, 23, Chile, has jumped 8 places and is ranked World No 34 with 1,297 points after reaching the QFs at Paris Masters. Marin Cilic, 31, Croatia, has dropped 15 places to be ranked World No 39 with 1,165 points after losing in the 2nd round at Paris Masters.

Jeremy Chardy, 32, France, has jumped 13 places to be ranked World No 52 with 990 points after reaching the Round of 16 at Paris Masters. Corentin Moutet, 20, France, has jumped 16 places to be ranked World No 81 with 661 points.

Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 29, India, has slipped 2 places to be ranked World No 94 with 6-1 points while Sumit Nagal, 22, India, remain static at World No 129 with 433 points. Ramkumar Ramnathan, 24, India, has slipped 4 places to be ranked World No 199 with 258 points. Sasi Kumar Mukund, 22, India, has dropped 13 places and is ranked World No 248 with 191 points while Sakethj Myneni, 32, India, has dropped 6 places and is ranked World No 266 with 168 points.
