Koilakh (Madhubani, Bihar) : Two-times champion and third seed Rafael Nadal, Spain, swept past World No 69 Joa0 Sousa, 30, Portugal, in straight sets at All England Club, London, to enter the quarter-finals of Wimbledon Championships. Nadal beat Sousa 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 in the 4th round on July 8, 2019, evening.

Nadal broke Sousa’ service 6 times in the match besides winning 4 games in a row in the match. Sousa had stunned World No 18 and former Wimbledon finalist Nadal served 5 Aces in the match to 4 by Sousa. Marin Cilic, Croatia, in the 2nd round.

World No 22 Roberto Bautista Agut, 31, Spain, also entered the quarter-finals of the tournament beating 28th seed Benoit Paire, France, in straight sets 6-3, 7-5, 6-2 in the 4th round. It will be Agut’s first appearance in the Wimbledon quarter-finals. Paire though fired 17 Aces in the match to just 1 by Agut. HE, however, also committed 9 double faults to 5 by Agut. Agut won 5 break points to 1 by Paire, the World No 32.
