Saharsa: Saharsa police are investigating into the activities of one Mohammad Parvez, who disappeared leaving behind his so called wife Bibi Gulshan at emergency ward of Saharsa Sadar hospital. But, what surprised the police was the statement of Gulshan before her death on September 3, 2016, that her name is Kanchan, daughter of  Bhoshnath Prasad of village Khalaspur in Kaimur district. According to the address given in the hospital, Parvez is a native of Karzain Bazaar in Supaul district.

Kaimur SP Harpreet Kaur confirmed the existence of Khalaspur village in Kaimur district and directed Bhabhua police station to verify the address given by the woman. Bhabhua police station SHO Rajesh Kumar after talking to the her kin confirmed that Bibi Gulshan was actually Kanchan and that she was married to Rajesh Kharwar of village Akhlaqpur, which is located near Khalaspur, on October 10, 2010. Bhabhua police is bringing her kin and Rajesh Kharwar to Saharsa so that Kanchan’s son can be handed over to them.

Police are probing as to how Kanchan became Bibi Gulshan. Sources said that Parvez probably married Kanchan after luring her and gave her the name Bibi Gulshan  and opened her accounts in SBI and Axis Bank at Ludhiana, Punjab. While in the SBI account the name of Gulshan’s husband is Parvez, in the Adhar card the name of her husband is Moiuddin Kalam. Incidentally, in Gulshan’s SBI some money was deposited through SBI, Tral in J&K.
