Mystery shrouds death of Class IX student at Pvt Sasaram hostel

Sasaram : Police recovered body of a Class IX student hanging from the ceiling of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Hostel at Noorganj Baulia area under Sasaram Town police station in Rohtas district on May 24, 2018, evening, and brought it over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

The deceased was identified as Ravikant, son of Lal Babu Bind of village Manjhui under Baddi police station in Rohtas district. Lal Babu Bind has given a petition to SHO, Sasaram Town police station, against the owners and employees of the hostel alleging that they  might have killed his son.

ASP Rajesh Kumar said that a class IX student Ravikant was living at Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Hostel at Noorganj Baulia area under Sasaram Town police station for the last four years for study. After taking his dinner on May 24 along with his friends, he returned to his room around 11 pm. The ASP suspected someone killed him and later hanged him to the ceiling as both his bleeding feet rested on the table.
