Muzaffarpur : Four policemen including an SI B K Yadav posted at Sadar Police Station (PS), Muzaffarpur, were placed under suspension by SSP, Muzaffarpur, Jayant Kant on January 7, 2021, for extorting money from truckers during patrolling on NH-28 on January 6, 2021. Muzaffarpur SSP Kant said that he will initiate stern action against these policemen.
The SSP suspended these 4 police personnel after getting an inquiry report from DSP Ram Naresh Paswan. The SSP said that he had taken suo moto cognisance of a video that had gone viral on social media in this connection and directed DSP Paswan to inquire into the allegation against the 4 police personnel. SSP Kant said that SI B K Yadav and other three policemen have been attached to the policeline.
