Muzaffarpur: Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar has directed Town DSP Ashish Anand to inquire into assault on a dalit woman of village Garha under Ahiyapur police station by some musclemen of the village on November 25 night. A case has been registered with SC/ST police station against seven named accused in this connection. The musclemen thrashed the woman after tying her hands and feet with rope. The woman alleged that she was being pressurised to sale a plot beside her house.
