Bokaro ( Jharkhand): Himanshu Mishra, 38, hailing from Sakra in Muzaffarpur district in Bihar was run over by a goods train at Kargali gate at Bermo on CIC section falling in Dhanbad division of East Central Railway (ECR), about 36 km away from Bokaro steel city, at 2 pm on February 27, 2017.
Himanshu had come to meet his father-in-law Arvind Pandey, a retired Central coalfield employee who had settled at Kargali only two days back, and was crossing the railway track unaware of the approaching goods train. Though the goods train driver sounded his hooter to catch attention of Mishra but he was talking on his mobile phone and was deeply involved in the talks which cost his life. He was identified by his identity card.
