Muzaffarpur : IG, Muzaffarpur zone, Sunil Kumar, has directed the SPs of East Champaran, West Champaran,
Bagaha( Police district), Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Vaishali and Muzaffarpur districts to check the cases of dacoity, loot , snatching of cash ,bank loot and extortion under their respective jurisdiction and arrest all the suspected criminals who were on police records for the last five years.
IG Kumar, in communication to the range DIG and SPs, has asked them launch a drive against the identified and suspected criminals and start patrolling at places where crime had taken place recently. All the vehicles should be checked at different points in the district, the IG said. He said that all the criminals use cellphone and police should
keep a watch on the shops selling SIM .
