Muzaffarpur: DM, Muzaffarpur, Dharmendra Singh, on November 30, 2016, directed the District Education against (DEO) to lodge FIR 335 school teachers appointed under ten blocks of the district on the basis of fake Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) pass certificates produced by them. He has also directed the DEO to dismiss from service all these 335 teachers and recover the amount paid t0 them as salary.
It may be mentioned here that an FIR was lodged against Principal Secretary, Education department, R K Mahajan, DEO and some other officials in connection with illegal appointment and payment of salary to these teachers on November 29, 2016, following directive of the CJM Court, Muzaffarpur.
The DM has also directed the DEO to complete inquiry into such appointments made under six remaining blocks of the district within two days.
