Muzaffarpur DM asks block level officials to stay at block hqs

Muzaffarpur: Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh has made it mandatory for block level officials to stay at their  respective block headquarters failing which their salary will be withheld.

All the officials would have to submit an affidavit to the Treasury stating that they were staying at their respective block headquarters to get their salary. The DM has taken the step following complaints that the block level officials do not stay at their headquarters. Their presence at  the block headquarters would make it easier for the locals to approach them anytime. The DM has asked SDO ( East), Muzaffarpur,  Sunil Kumar, and SDO ( West), Muzaffarpur, Ranjita, to submit list of officials who do not stay at block headquarters and have residences in the town within three days.
