Muzaffarpur district transport office staff shot at and stabbed, in critical condition

Muzaffarpur: Criminals shot at and stabbed seriously injuring a senior staff of District Transport Office (DTO), Muzaffarpur, Satyendra, near the gate of the office of range DIG on Friday evening. Sources suspect that Satyndra was attacked by the goons of transport mafia. Satyendra was rushed to Muzaffarpur Sadar hospital in critical condition.

Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh and SSP Vivek Kumar immediately reached the spot to inquire into the incident. Criminals stabbed Satyendra in chest while the bullet hit his body from behind. In view of his critical condition, Satyendra was later shifted to a private nursing home.

The attack on Satyendra follows tightening of  noose on transporters by the DM and new District Transport Officer. The district transport office employees recently had heated exchange with some brokers scores of whom can be can seen outside the district transport office.
