Muzaffarpur CJM orders judicial probe into recovery of skeltons near SKMCH

Muzaffarpur: The CJM court, Muzaffarpur, has ordered for a judicial probe into the recovery of few skeltons at shop near Sri Krishna Medical  College Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, recently. CJM Ramchandra Prasad ordered for judicial probe into the matter on the application of Shekhar Prasad, advocate, alleging skeltons of unclaimed bodies were being sold to medical students and other parties by some people for the past few years in a clandestine manner.

A sting operation had also exposed it. Commissioner, Tirhut division, has also sought an explanation from SKMCH principal in this regard. The principal removed four staff of post-mortem room after the scandal hit the headlines. The NHRC has also been informed about the recovery of skeltons near SKMCH.
