Patna : World No 243 but winner of three Grand Slam singles titles Any Murray, 32, Great Britain, edged past 4th seed Stan Wawrinka, 34, Switzerland, in a three-set thriller in the final to win European Cup, an AT World Tour 250 points event, title at Antwerp, Belgium, his first title since hip surgery about 8 months back. He has returned to ATP World Tour circuit only recently.

Murray beat Wawrinka, also winner of three Grand Slam singles titles, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 in 2hr 27 minutes in the final battling back from a set down. Murray, winner of two Wimbledon titles, won 5 break points in the match to 4 by Wawrinka. Both the players won 3 games each in a row in the match. Wawrinka though hammered 12 Aces in the match to 9 by Murray. THe SWiss also won 56 service points to 51 by Murray. Murray committed 3 double faults to 1 by Wawrinka.
