Sitamarhi : The residents of Banswaria locality in Sitamarhi Town in North Bihar blocked the road near Bazaar Samiti Chowk for several hours on November 29, 2021, in protest against the brutal murder of Class X student Rahul Kumar on November 28, 2021, evening. Rahul Kumar was stabbed by miscreants and had sustained multiple injuries. He was admitted to a private Nursing Home the same evening but succumbed to his injuries after a few hours.
The deceased was a student at Magunraha High School in Sitamarhi District. His father Mahesh Chaudhary, Headmaster of a Middle School, said that his son Rahul was not in the hit list of anybody and what happened is a matter of investigation. The locals say that this may be a fallout of fight for supremacy in the area. Sadar SDPO, Sitamarhi, Ramakant Upadyaya, pacified the locals and said that the accused would be arrested at the earliest.
