Ara : Railway Protection Force (RPF), Ara, arrested a murder accused from a Lokmany Tilak Terminal Special Train at Ara railway station under Danapur Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, on July 27, 2020, evening. Later, Mumbai police took him with them to Mumbai in Maharashtra.
The arrested miscreant was identified as Md Mahboob Alam of Piyarpur-Radhanagar under Udawa police station in Sahebganj district in Jharkhand who lived in Bhagtbadi-Panwel area under Khandeshwar police station in Raigarh, Mumbai, in Maharashtra.
RPF post, Ara, Incharge, Shambhu Nath Ram, said that one Md Saddam was killed at Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra on July 25, 2020, and an FIR was lodged with Navi Mumbai police on July 26, 2020. Te Navi Mumbai police was searching for Md Mahboob Alam in connection.
Meanwhile, Inspector, Navi Mumbai PS, Vaibhav Kumar, got information that Md Mahboob Alam was going to Patna by 03202Dn Lokmany Tilak Terminal Special Train and he immediately informed the ECR police and also RPF post at Ara railway station. As the train reached Ara railway station, the RPF, Ara searched the Coach No D. N. and arrested Md Mahboob Alam and informed Navi Mumbai police. On gettinginformation, the Navi Mumbai police reached Ara on July 28, 2020, morning, by air and took Md Mahboob Alam with them.
