Patna : Bihar government on June 30, 2017, granted promotion to Range DIG, Munger, Manju Jha, to the IG rank. But, she has been exempted from mandatory Mid – Career Training Programme (MCTP) phase -4 training as she has less than three years to retire. An IPS officer of 1999 batch, Manju Jha will retire on December 31, 2017. The state Home Department issued a notification to this effect on June 30 itself. The department is, however, yet to issue notification regarding her posting as an IG.
