Mukul Gupta, IAS, deputed to Purnia for two weeks

Patna : Bihar government on August 24, 2017, deputed Assistant DM Nalanda, Mukul Kumar Gupta, to the office of DM, Purnia, for two weeks to assist the local administration in carrying out relief works in the flood affected district. Gupta is a 2016 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on August 24. The flood has claimed nine lives in Purnia district.
