Mukhia’s husband shot dead in broad daylight in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur : Ramesh Singh, husband of Mukhia of Parsaunipatti panchayat under Sahebganj police station in Muzaffarpur district Lalita Devi, was shot dead in broad daylight on July 14, 2017, when he was returning home from Sahebganj block headquarters on his bike.

SHO, Sahebganj police station, Basant Kumar Rajak, said that Ramesh Singh was shot dead by two unidentified bike borne criminals at 10.45 am. The SHO said that the reason behind the murder was yet to be established. He, however, felt that business rivalry could be the possible reason behind Ramesh Singh’s murder. Police are investigating into the matter but are yet to arrest any suspect, the SHO said.
