Patna : World No 23 Gael Monfils, 32, France, entered the semi-finals of Dubai Tennis Championships, an ATP World Tour 500 points played on hard courts, at Dubai, UAE, defeating World No 113 Ricardas Berankis, 28, Lithuania, in the quarter-finals on February 28, 2019.
Monfils, who had on February 17, 2019, won the ATP Rotterdam Open title, beat qualifier Berankis in three-sets 6-1, 6-7, 6-2 in the quarter-finals.
